Im a 17 year old guy buying a new car and I'm wondering what are some nice looking sport cars that are affordable, im having a hard time finding any cars i like? Besides the mustang and mitsubishi eclipse

I have a friend at work who owns an automatic camaro and everyone makes fun of him cause it's automatic. It's still a car. It runs fast. I wish I owned that car. I have an old car and it's a stick shift but it's too old and I would trade it for an new auto if I could. Stick shift is the VCR of the car world. Why do people like stick shift sport cars? We no longer live in 1950 so we got to get with the program.
Who has experience in driving aftermarket lowered sport cars?
I got a 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse and i want to lower it. Those cars look so ''sick'' when lowered. What i want to know is how much should i drop it? i want to be able to pull into my own driveway and go over speed humps in the road. i will take everything really cautiously when doing so. Do you have experience in driving lowered sport cars? Who do i take my car to so they can lower it? do i have to order the springs or what? how much will it cost?

Is this stereotype true? By sport cars I mean, loud engines and driving fast. Trucks I mean the kinda trucks that run slow.
